Women look to fashion to reflect the different stages of their life. The fashion statements she makes are more than just that, they reflect her state of mind and where her spirit’s at. And the opulent elegance of fall colors and styles will allow her to look fabulous at any age. Whether she’s in her 20’s, 30’s, 40’s there is a fashion style that will suit her and bring out her best features. There are changes that go with the changing of the seasons and the passing of years. What we dressed in as a young woman in our 20’s would not suit someone in her 40’s. But there’s no law against dressing like a 20-year-old even if you’re well into your 40’s. The question is, will dressing like your 20-year-old self highlight your more mature beauty?

What can happen when we don’t dress our age, and that goes for younger women who style themselves older, is it ages us. And if you’re a woman, you’d agree that this is something you’d be averse to. In my opinion, younger women should style themselves with 2 things in mind: a sense of adventure and youthful sophistication. For the ageless woman, one thing is generally considered: elegance.

She agrees with one famous designer who once said "Fashion does not have to prove that it is serious. It is proof that intelligent frivolity can be something creative and positive." It takes a certain intelligence to understand what trends and style would suit your fashion identity. And fashion identity is achieved only by someone who knows herself well. If we go by the Socratic principle that values knowing yourself, then we can say that a woman who dresses well and appropriately for her age and any occasion has her head firmly on her shoulders.
