Summer Nails
Nail polish is the easiest way to spruce up an outfit. A simple white tee and cropped denim shorts will look edgy and chic with a touch of color on your nails. Bright and neon nails are “in”! Try using tangerine tango, the color of the year.
Sometimes a certain outfit revolves around the nail color. I’ve gathered hot colors and paired it with Amiclubwear’s trendy clothes and accessories.

Tangerine Tango was chosen as the color of the year for 2012 for those who aren’t aware yet. The color is a mix of red and orange just like the color of the sun during sunset. We always connect the sun with summer because it is the season when it is at its most dazzling. Tangerine tango was first seen on the runway during McQueen’s fashion show, and many other designers followed suit.
Unfortunately, not all of us can afford designer clothes and haute couture, so might as well use the color on your nails. Jump on the band wagon because tangerine tango might just do it for you. It’s a brilliant color that will liven up any summer outfit! American Apparel has one of the nicest colors, and Sephora’s collaboration with Pantone has turned out some cooler than cool shades! You can also paint your nails with solid colors like white, and choose a bottom with simple details like Amiclubwear’s shorts as seen in the picture above. Stripes will also give you a nautical effect, and will not overpower your over-all look, that includes your nails!

The color is heavenly, reminiscent of the bright blue sky. NARS’s collaboration with Thakoon for Spring/Summer 2012 produced a shade somewhere in between pastel and neon, soft, but loud and bright. I’ve picked Amiclubwear’s color block gravity heel to get the color to stand out. Don’t be afraid to experiment with color-blocking, just make sure that the color will harmonize with your nails.

Who doesn’t love the color pink? Especially when painted on the nails. The shade not only pops but makes the hands look soft, and very feminine. If you’re tired of an all pink ensemble, then choose an outfit color that will look best when paired with pink, like yellow. You’ll instantly grab everyone’s attention since the color combination is fresh, and actually attracts positive energy. In the photo, I recommend the hot fuchsia pink nail color with Amiclubwear’s sunny yellow pants, quirky ring, and YSL’s rouge volupte lipstick shade number eight. The ensemble exudes a mod and retro vibe.

The color is almost similar to fuchsia pink but with warmer tones. Reminiscent of orchids, imagine yourself at the beach while watching the sunset, with side-swept hair and that flower tucked behind your ear. That clearly spells summer with a romantic atmosphere. I paired the color with Amiclubwear’s nude/beige colored stilettos to bring out the sophisticated side of you.
Remember, bright and loud colors work this summer, so never feel hesitant about experimenting and updating your looks. Forge on fashionistas!
