Uptight

Our hair is our crowning glory, and it gets really frustrating when we deal with bad hair days. More often than not, it happens when we least want it to happen, like before dinner dates, a night out with friends and any other event when we need to look our best. When we deal with a“bad hair day” we usually tie our hair back in a ponytail or pull it up in a dull, boring bun. Don’t fret; there are new styles that make a simple ponytail interesting, and a tiring bun look fantastic.

How to achieve the look?

This one is quite easy. While hair is damp or dry apply Catwalk Roost Boost. Tie it in a ponytail and leave at least a few strands of hair to cover the elastic. After tying the hair, pick up the last few strands and wrap it around the ponytail to cover the elastic band. Curl the rest of the hair. You can decide on how thick you want the curl to be.

Just look at this photo from Louis Vuitton’s Fashion Show. A simple ponytail made to look classy, modern and polished.

How to achieve the French Chignon Twist?

First thing is to blow-dry your hair using a round brush to add volume, apply TIGI’s BedHead Superstar Hairspray after. This is French Chignon made easy. You can either use Goody’s Modern Up Do pins. Spray Bedhead Superstar if needed to give extra hold. And for the final touch you can use plain elastic headbands or those with Swarovski crystals.

Goody products make it easier for us to style our hair. With their Goody’s Bun Spiral, a messy bun can be done in minutes and actually almost anywhere. For a messy bun, gather your hair and twirl it into the bun spiral. Spray TIGI Catwalk Your Highness Volumizing Hairspray on your bun to create a secure and messy hold.

How to achieve the look?

Apply TIGI’s Catwalk Sleek Mystique, gather your hair and divide it into two sections. Braid both sides and tie the end portion of the hair using Goody’s Ouchless Elastic Band and tie it in a bun. Use bobby pins or hair pins to hold and keep the bun in place.

The Braided Bun
The rebirth of the Grecian Goddess is what comes to mind whenever I see this hairstyle. A bun made to look glamorous and stylish.
